This policy explains what you get with every module bought at addonspresta.com. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions; if the two documents differ, the Terms and Conditions prevail. Free modules are covered in point 11. The modules are sold by Codestorm Ireneusz Kierkowski, Kraków, Poland (details in the Legal Notice).

1. Lifetime licence
1.1. Each purchase gives you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the module. The licence does not expire and does not require any renewal fee.
1.2. The licence is personal to the buyer. It cannot be sold, transferred or sublicensed to another person without our written consent, except when the whole shop for which it was bought is sold or transferred — in that case the licence passes to the new owner of the shop and the previous owner must stop using the module.
2. Lifetime updates
2.1. After purchase you can download every update of the module — bug fixes, security fixes, new features and compatibility updates for new PrestaShop versions — from My account → Order history at no extra cost, for as long as the module is developed and offered in the store.
2.2. If we stop developing a module, we will announce it on the module page. The last published version remains available for download from your account and you may keep using it under the same licence.
2.3. Updates are optional. Before updating a live shop we recommend making a backup and testing the new version on a copy of the shop.
3. Open code — no encryption, no DRM
3.1. Modules are delivered with their complete, unencrypted source code. They contain no licence keys, no domain locks, no remote activation and no "phone-home" checks, and they keep working if our store is unavailable.
3.2. The absence of technical protection does not change the scope of the licence: the rules in sections 6 and 7 still apply.
4. AI-assisted security audit
4.1. The source code of our modules goes through an AI-assisted security audit. The audit focuses on the most common vulnerabilities in PrestaShop modules, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), access control on controllers and files, and the handling of uploaded files.
4.2. The audit significantly reduces the risk of security flaws but cannot guarantee that a module is free of them. When we find or are told about a vulnerability, we fix it as a priority and publish a security update. Report security issues to mail@addonspresta.com.
5. One year of technical support
5.1. Every purchase includes 12 months of technical support counted from the date of the order. Support is provided by e-mail at mail@addonspresta.com or through the contact form, Monday to Friday, 10:00–16:00 CET, excluding Polish public holidays. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
5.2. Support covers:
- help with installing, configuring and using the module,
- diagnosing and fixing errors in the module,
- questions about compatibility with PrestaShop versions listed on the module page.
5.3. Support does not cover:
- custom development or changes to the module's functions,
- problems caused by modifications made by you or third parties,
- conflicts with third-party modules, themes or overrides, other than identifying their cause,
- server, hosting or PrestaShop configuration unrelated to the module,
- installation of the module on your server (we can offer it as a separate paid service).
5.4. After the support period the module keeps working and you keep receiving updates. We may offer paid support extensions; their terms will be shown before purchase.
5.5. Our statutory liability for the conformity of the module with the contract does not depend on the support period and is described in the Terms and Conditions.
6. Modifying the module
6.1. You may modify the module's code, or have it modified by your employees or by a developer or agency working on your behalf, to adapt it to the needs of the shop covered by your licence.
6.2. You may not share, publish, sell, rent, lend or otherwise make available the module or any modified version of it — in whole or in part — to anyone else, including in public repositories, marketplaces, themes or module bundles.
6.3. Modified code is excluded from support to the extent of the modification, and updates may overwrite your changes. We recommend keeping your changes in overrides or a separate module where possible.
7. One licence, one shop
7.1. One licence covers one shop, meaning one PrestaShop installation with its own database. In multistore mode, one licence covers any number of shops managed in that installation, regardless of the number of domains.
7.2. The licence also covers any number of non-public copies of the same shop used for development, testing or staging.
7.3. Using the module in another PrestaShop installation requires another licence.
8. 30 days to return a module
8.1. You may return a purchased module within 30 days from the date of the order, without giving a reason. To do so, send us an e-mail at mail@addonspresta.com with the order reference.
8.2. We will refund the full price of the module within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise. You do not bear any costs of the refund.
8.3. When the module is returned, the licence expires: you must uninstall the module and delete all copies of it, including modified versions, and you lose access to its updates and support.
8.4. The 30-day return period is a commercial guarantee given in addition to your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, it does not limit your statutory right of withdrawal or your rights in case of non-conformity of the module, described in the Terms and Conditions.
9. Volume licences and unlimited licences
9.1. Volume licences — if you need the same module for several shops, you can buy several licences at a reduced price per licence. Each licence covers one shop on the terms of section 7.
9.2. Unlimited licence — allows you to use the module in any number of your own shops and, for agencies, in the shops of your clients whom you serve under a contract. The other licence rules still apply: in particular, you may not share or publish the code, and your clients may not pass the module on.
9.3. For prices of volume and unlimited licences, write to us at mail@addonspresta.com. We will send an offer and an invoice, and the licences will appear in your account after payment.
10. Prices, payment and invoices
10.1. Prices are shown net (without VAT) in EUR or PLN, depending on the currency selected in the store. The product page also shows the price including VAT, and the cart shows the VAT and the total amount to pay before you place the order.
10.2. You pay online through Stripe (card, BLIK, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on the currency and your device) or by bank transfer. For a bank transfer, you will see the account details and the reference to use (your order reference) on the confirmation page after placing the order and in the e-mail; we may cancel an order that is not paid within 7 days. The module becomes available for download in your account as soon as we receive the payment — immediately for online payments, and once the transfer reaches our account for bank transfers. You receive a VAT invoice for every order.
10.3. Discount codes, including the welcome code for new customers, are subject to the terms shown with the offer; each code can be used once per customer, unless stated otherwise.
11. Free modules
11.1. Modules priced "Free" are downloaded without an account, with the "Free download" button on the module page. They come with the same licence as our paid modules (points 1, 3, 6 and 7): one shop with any number of multistore shops, you may modify the code, you may not share it.
11.2. New versions of free modules are downloaded the same way from the module page. Free modules go through the same security audit as our paid modules (point 4).
11.3. Free modules come without technical support (point 5), and returns (point 8) do not apply, as you pay nothing for them. We can offer help with installation or configuration as a paid service.
11.4. After downloading, you can voluntarily support the development of our free modules with a one-off payment through Stripe: €2, €5 or €10. Support is not a purchase — it gives no technical support or other rights, and the module stays free. If you paid by mistake, write to us within 30 days and we will refund you.
